As a manufacturer, we use specialized machines to “spin” ropes from thread. This process involves riding a motorized cart style machine that travels on a set track. The threads are set on hooks in certain and the machine then spins the threads into ropes.
Then, all of the ropes that are made have to go through our wax process. The ropes are hand dipped in a large wax vat. It can be hot and a little messy, and usually we do this once a week.
After they have sat overnight, the ropes also have to be tied and stretched. We have basic machinery to assist our employees in this process, although the knots are tied by hand.
Sometimes certain ropes will need to painted / dyed different colors before we put them through the wax process. We use both dye and spray paint to get these ropes ready before they get waxed.
No previous experience is required – and it’s ok if you don’t rope or even have horses! All training is provided from day one. Must be 18 years of age or older due to our machines and processes.
TO APPLY: Email your resume to email@example.com, attention Alana. Interviews are scheduled during the week, Monday-Friday between 10am-5:30pm. Each applicant will have the opportunity to walk through the warehouse/work area if they would like.
Must be at least 18 years old.
$15/hour with benefits (health/life insurance)
